IBC Innovation Award

Advocated for, and ultimately picked-up, an IBC Innovation Award for the SVT-AV1 open-source encoder in my role as the Alliance for Open Media (AOMedia) Executive Director. This is a great opportunity to recognize the hard work needed to make successful standards a reality (hats off to all the contributors to SVT-AV1 in general and Intel Corporation and Meta in particular).

Thanks to #ibc2025 for making such recognition possible. Great event!
